Just like real leather, our material darkens over time and develops a patina that gives it a unique look and feel! The brushed aluminum in our leather Case may show slight signs of wear after a period of use. It is therefore normal that the base color of the aluminum may become visible.

The aloe vera fibers we use for our production are created as a by-product in the cosmetics industry. After extracting the juice of the plant, we take the leftover dried leaves and use the "waste" to create something new. This results in great environmental savings in terms of resource consumption, land use and energy compared to making or harvesting a new material. (The leaves are ground into a very fine powder and mixed with about 30% post-consumer polyurethane. To obtain a stable leather material, this mixed material is applied to a tear-resistant roll of vegetable fabric. The rolls are heated to produce a weather-resistant and durable innovative fabric with a rich leather texture.
For your information, however, a certain amount of polyurethane is required to make the iPhoneCase durable and resistant. Our goal is to reduce the amount of PU each year. Good news: Our PU is the most sustainable on the market! It's recycled, Global Recycling Standard (GRS) certified, and made with a water-based process, which is more environmentally friendly and uses fewer chemicals!
