We as a company try to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible by shipping CO2 neutral, paying attention to waste separation and recycling and training our employees in the area of sustainability. No, and that is exactly what makes our products! Each product is truly unique and will only exist once in the world. Since we work with natural materials, which always have different grains and structures, each accessory is individual in its look and feel.
Your Woodcessories product does not require any special care. Even normal weather conditions, such as rain showers, do not affect your unique piece. However, it should be protected from strong moisture, heat, cold or sunlight. Even if the wood and organic material is treated with several layers of wax, it is a natural product that can be negatively affected by extreme weather conditions.
How does my Woodcessories product behave in rain and wet conditions? All wood and stone elements of Woodcessories products are waxed and coated with a natural varnish layer that is not affected by e.g. sweat. The treatment makes our accessories stable and weather resistant. Splash water is no problem for our products, but wood, stone and especially our biomaterial are natural products and therefore long contact with water should be avoided.
On the one hand, our company philosophy and the cooperation with Trees for the Future contribute a great deal to supporting our nature. On the other hand, we pay close attention to sustainability in our materials and packaging. Our wood comes from controlled, sustainable forestry and our Bio Cases are made from agricultural residues. We take wheat & straw (which would otherwise just be burned during production) and turn it into cool phone cases. It is even a recycled product: because our customers can send their used cases back to us and we make new cases out of it. Another important aspect: Quality! We make sure that all our products are of extremely high quality, because only a product that lasts for many years or even decades is sustainable.

All products have a natural origin! We use only real wood and real stone. Both raw materials are mostly sourced from Germany, America and Asia. All wood comes from sustainable forestry. Even the slate comes from sustainable sources and is mined in an environmentally friendly way.
Our bio Cases are made of our own developed bio granulate from agricultural residues, such as wheat and straw, but also from organic plant starch (PLA). PLA is one of the bioplastics that are made from renewable raw materials, i.e. biobased as well as compostable. Our innovative bio material can also be recycled in our production and thus saves important resources!
