A20 Pro chip manufactured using a 2-nanometer process: Apple's new processor features a 6-core CPU (20% faster), a 7-core GPU (+40% graphics performance), and twice the computing power of the 32-core Neural Engine. Combined with 50% more RAM, the device is fully optimized for on-device AI with Apple Intelligence. To prevent the iPhone from overheating even during heavy use, it features a new cooling system with a Vapor Chamber (three times the surface area compared to the 17 Pro) as well as a protective copper layer for the display.
- Mechanical aperture for the 48-MP camera: The main camera now features a variable aperture with six microscopically thin blades that automatically control the amount of light entering the lens. Combined with texture and grain control, 4K time-lapse, and Smart Focus Tracking, Apple is taking mobile photography to a professional level.
- Battery life: The iPhone 18 Pro offers up to 36 hours of battery life (24 hours of continuous use), while the 18 Pro Max delivers up to 45 hours (30 hours of continuous use). The design is rounded out by minimalist frames and a redesigned Dynamic Island, which can now display up to three live activities simultaneously.

Foldable iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12, and AirPods 5: More Keynote Highlights
In addition to the Pro models, Apple had other highlights in store: With the iPhone Duo , Apple is launching its first foldable smartphone with a titanium frame.
