Whether you have known us for a long time or have just discovered us: Welcome! As a kick-off for our new sustainable blog, we would like to introduce ourselves once again and tell you what moves us.
Who are we & what do we do?
We are a sustainable company from the heart of the Ruhr area, founded out of love for nature. We have made it our mission to develop sustainable Cases & accessories for your iPhone, MacBook & Co. and thus set an example for the environment and against plastic consumption. For our products we use only natural materials such as wood, stone and plant matter and also work as a company as environmentally friendly as possible.
In 2013 Sebastian & Sebastian created the green startup "Woodcessories" after an inspiring adventure trip through the American forests and decided to bring a bit of nature into everyday life. As Apple lovers, they wanted to create a connection between technology and nature, combining minimalist design with the natural look of wood & stone.
Of course, we do not change the world in one fell swoop, but after all, even small things can make a big difference! Every year, millions of plasticCases and accessories are produced and thrown away again shortly after. We want to break this cycle and therefore offer sustainable alternatives that not only last longer, but can also be recycled. We are therefore also constantly looking for new materials and methods to be able to offer more sustainable products as plastic alternatives.
What value does sustainability have for us?
Sustainability is the be-all and end-all for us. That's why we not only pay attention to sustainable materials and production processes, but are also mindful of environmentally friendly alternatives in everyday office life.
We are particularly proud of our Green Mission. Together with Trees for the Future, we plant a new tree for every sustainable product sold and thus not only support the reforestation of drought areas, but also fight against famine and poverty. To date, we have planted over 200,000 trees thanks to you!

Our products
Sustainability, environmental awareness and social commitment - that's what we stand for. And that's exactly what we want to reflect in our products. Our team loves high-quality designer pieces and sustainable, innovative raw materials.
First and foremost, we want to create a perfect blend of naturalness, aesthetics and functionality with our products. Each of our cases & Cases is perfectly adapted to the design of your smartphone and supports all functions. In addition, each of our unique items is made from high-quality and tested natural materials. We want to create a thoughtful and honest product that will become your individual companion.
In addition to certified woods from sustainable forests, we use real natural stone with unique texture and patina, and compostable organic material consisting of plant residues and coated with a protective antimicrobial layer. Some of our products also contain controlled vegetable-tanned leather, organic wool, and recycled plastic and aluminum.
All our packaging is additionally made of at least 99% recycled waste paper and cardboard. So it is completely environmentally friendly and can be easily reused or composted.

Where and how do we work?
We live our values and have built one of the most sustainable offices in Germany! Equipped with energy-saving technology and reusable office equipment, we want to master everyday office life without paper and plastic and thus make a contribution to climate protection not only with our products, but also ourselves!
Here we develop new environmentally friendly ideas and products every day. In doing so, every single employee has a great impact on our success and identity and makes Woodcessories what it is.
